Carol Ann Patton-Beitler passed away in Orange County, California, on January 5, 2005, at the age of 51, after a brief battle with cancer.  Carol was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Bobby and Behula Jean Patton.

Carol moved around a lot as a child, as her dad was in the Air Force.  She graduated from Central High School, finally settling in Orange County, CA.  Carol loved the mountains and had hoped to return to South Dakota someday.

Carol is survived by her two children, Jennifer Foxx (Yorba Linda, CA) and Daniel Beitler (Anaheim, CA) and her grandchildren, whom she sadly never got to meet, as her first grandson was born two months after she passed.
