I grew up across the street from Mike. His family and mine were good friends, especially our mothers. I'll never forget the first time Mike showed me around his Dad's poultry plant . . . a lot of eggs and chicken feathers. The plant was located at the top of a hill leading into North Rapid.
His life was cut short far too soon. Sadly I remember in elementary school . . . Mike was on the playground swings and fell out breaking both arms. School work was rough for him that year with both arms out of commission. He was a good friend and neighbor. Rest In Peace, Mike.
