Russell Kordonowy passed away in Rapid City October 2, 2019, as a result of  a stroke. After graduating from Central High School, he attended SDSM&T and joined the Air Force.  He lived in Colorado and Wyoming, returning to Rapid City after he was honorably discharged from the Air Force.  His family was very important to him.  Russell was married to Joyce Whitney and shared six children.  He later married Leanne and had one child.  He was a plumber journeyman.  He is predeceased by two of his children and exwife Joyce.
