David and I grew up across an alley from each other and traveled together to school throughout the years. There were many a school day that passed where we played Army or had snowball fights after our homework was completed. Our mothers were good friends and growing up in North Rapid was simple compared to other parts of the city.
David was quiet and not out to climb any social ladder and though we fell apart over the years, I will always remember his kind and gentle soul. Rest In Peace, my Friend . . . Rest In Peace.
